I installed a new stone patio in yard in November and wanted a nice patio set for it,I looked at alot of patio sets from alot of websites.I classified them into 3 types: low quality $300 to $750, medium quality sets at $800 to $1500,and High quality from $1600 to $3500 or more. I was looking for a Bistro(Bar)set more than a dining set.Bar sets have 36" to 48"round tables(this one is 42") and are higher off the ground with bar stools,where as dining sets are lower and come in sizes 48"or60"round and of course rectangle tables with regular chairs. This patio set line is only sold by this dealer and he also sells on another well known store website,I was a little weary spending over a $1000 for something sight unseen,located in California and from only 1 vendor who carrys this unheard of line(Perris).I couldn,t find anyone else who carries this line, or pictures of it at outdoor patio websites anywhere,but I kept coming back to it because it was exactly what I was looking for. This vendor sells this line in an assortment of choices, I bought this 42" bar table set but with (4) bar stools,(He also sells this bar set here(Amazon) but it has a 48"table with the 4 barstools) where the one he is selling right here has only 2 bar stools and 42"table,(Lots of cominations)(more $$ for the 5 piece set of course)he also sells matching umbrella bases that match the table top design( I,ll take a pat on the back for doing all the research for you LOL )Why he sells only some of the patio and bar sets here and some of the other sets on the other website even though it it the same line is beyond me,so if you can,t find the set the way you want it then look for it or contact him or me for a fee (Kidding) Now for the review: I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bar set, the bar stools are cast aluminum light weight to move but built solid, they have a wide stance so you will not be tipping over when sitting in them, they have a wide seat bottom and are deep,have 2&1/2"thick seat cushions,are very comfortable,they swivel of course.The welds on chair are big,no little welds that will break off, this is a high end set at a medium price,the chairs fit under the table and the table top is proportionate to the height you are seated at if that makes sense to you, the 42" table has a nice design on top,(the 48"round and 60" and rectangle tables have the same design)very sturdy legs and rubber feet on bottom so you won,t scratch your patio or deck,they also adjust too.When I stare at the color it looks to be black but because there are a million lite colored specks in paint it becomes a brown color,don,t ask me how but it is,it would go with a black colored decor or dark brown, again color looks dark brown,also when you think of bar stools you think you would have to jump off them because of their height but somehow with these you simply put 1 foot down and you are on ground.I have to say I really like this set alot! very very good quality, maybe he made a deal with company that makes them for some other "high" end line and can sell them cheaper with no brand name.The CPM1290 is the name of his scaffolding company not product name or manufacturing name,so to summarize... Buying a no name product for over a $1000 from a vendor in California who is the only one carrying this line and whose main buisness is selling scaffolding supplys is probably not a good idea and ooh yeah, did you see any warranty at all? Also he is going to charge you both sent and return shipping charges if you return it. Big shipping charges too!..like $269 each way...... BUT.......It is a middle to High quality set,built solid, looks beautiful,is very comfortable,looks top shelf and is sold at the moment for a moderate price and buying it at Amazon will cover your back,and according to another reviewer the vendor will take care of any problems fast and free.I didn,t have any problems with my shipment...
